HERON is a converted timber framed cabin style cottage. This cottage is best suited for a couple or a family with children. This cottage can not accomodate 4 adults. Heron has a contemporary style with lots of windows out onto the forest. There is lots of outside garden and undercover decking space. Heron has great direct access to the mountain bike trails and the forest. Heron is on all one level. The front door enters into the lounge area with leather sofa and cuddle chair infront of the wood-burning stove. There is a TV with a Freesat box and DVD player. The dining table has a great view over the forest with contemporary Eames chairs and bench. Heron sleeps a maximum of 4 in two "bedrooms" - these bedrooms are in the main room but screened with a partition wall. This divide creates an area with one double bed and an area with bunk beds - think contemporary 'posh' bunkhouse. The bathroom is a shower wet-room (no bath) - this bathroom is in the main building and under cover, but is accessed by going outside on the veranda.
Heron has a private wood-fired Hot Tub for guests to enjoy! Your private hot tub is located on the raised decking
Dogs are allowed in this cottage by arrangement at an extra charge of £10 per night (£5 per night for a second dog). You can add these during the booking process.
Logs are charged at £5 per crate and £4 per bag of kindling for the wood-burning stove and you must pay for these in cash on your departure
