We have many activities for you to enjoy during your stay, throughout Llanwrtyd Wells and the surrounding areas there is something for everyone, including energetic mountain biking or calm and tranquil walking.
Lots of open space to explore, streams to play in and on site mountain biking. Also try Horse riding, Oakwood Theme Park, National Showcaves, Cantref Adventure Farm, to name just a few.
Cycle directly from your cottage onto our mountain bike trails. After a energetic ride pop into the on-site cafe where we serve hot and cold drinks, fresh soup, homemade bread, Welsh rarebit and toasties.
There are showers, toilets, a bike wash, payphone, maps of the mountain bike trails and lots of other local information.
Unfortunately we do not offer bike rental, however you can hire bikes at www.cyclesirfon.co.uk for £15 per day and have them delivered to you. Or bring your own bikes, we have several lockable bike sheds.
There are three XC trails spread throughout our forest and they are graded with colours.
Blue Trail - 4km, Climb - 95m
Red Trail - 5km, Climb - 140m
Black Trail - 5km, Climb - 155m

At Trallwm we have endless fields, mud and streams for your dog to enjoy. Many of our cottages allow dogs (at a small charge) so save on kennel fees and give your dog a holiday.
During your stay at Trallwm you could explore the beautiful scenery of Mid-Wales by walking throughout our open access land, including three bridal ways leading up to Abergwesyn Common. In your cottage there is lots of information on a variety of walks for you to enjoy.
